LEAP – Limited Edition Art Prints

LEAP is an artist-run print studio in Vienna, founded by Sebastian Schager and Andreas Nader. What started as the PERFEKT PRINTS series – twelve two-color screenprints for the PERFEKT WORLD collective in 2013 – became a full programme of limited edition prints, spanning street art, contemporary painting, illustration, and everything in between.

Every edition is hand-pulled by Nader’s Printaffaires workshop on heavyweight paper – a process closer to traditional printmaking studios of the 1960s, when artists like Eduardo Paolozzi and Richard Hamilton turned screenprinting from a commercial technique into a fine art medium. The PERFEKT PRINTS series was originally produced in collaboration with Viadukt Screenprints; when Printaffaires split from Viadukt, the print programme continued under a new name: LEAP.

Over the years, more than 110 artists from over 30 countries have contributed to the collection. Many came through the Jan Arnold Gallery, our exhibition space at Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier, where we hosted the Q21 Artist in Residence programme. Others connected through the Calle Libre street art festival or found us through the international printmaking community.

The result: a growing archive of original artwork at fair prices – hand-made, limited, and built on real relationships between the people who print and the people who create.
