Coins is an emerging Vienna-based street artist whose work moves between large-scale wall painting and refined studio practice. His recurring Power Flower motif distills calligraphic flower forms into bold, gestural mark-making — a visual signature that runs through his murals across the city. In May 2026, Coins is one of five featured live painters at the Calle Libre Festival, painting a 170 m² wall in Vienna's 19th district under this year's IN EQUALITY theme.
Power Flower translates that mural language into print. Five screens build the image, two of them pulled as rainbow rolls — the colour spectrum sliding across the sheet in a single pass. Coins chose deliberately translucent pigments, so the paper white reads through every layer. Nothing pastel: instead, the white underneath lifts the colours into something luminous, almost stained-glass. The gesture echoes Cy Twombly's calligraphic Roses — looser, faster, but with the same conviction that a flower can carry the weight of an entire painting.
This 36-edition was produced together with Coins and Calle Libre. Twelve prints went to the festival, twelve to the artist, twelve are available here.
