Inspired by the strange details of run-down corners in Vienna, faded store windows and many colorful 1EUR stores, Fresh Max searches for the ultimate Austrian symbolism. His aesthetic moves between gold chains, local icons like Tom Turbo and the Würstelstand (wurst stand) romance. The paintings and prints of Fresh Max are bold, flashy, and may well irritate your eyes and stomach.

The self taught Graffiti Artist Fresh Max studies at University of Applied Art in Vienna, after growing up in Scharten (Upper Austria). His works combine the charm of the Austrian petty bourgeoisie with urban graffiti culture and media images of an apparatus which supplies him with quotes from the ” Simpsons “, ” life stories ” and ” GTA Vice City ” . Fresh Max translates his ideas into art by using different techniques such as large-scale murals, typography, illustration or classical painting on canvas . His favorite tools are spray cans, brushes and markers.
