Max Freund is a Vienna-based abstract mixed-media artist. He studied at the University of Applied Arts under Judith Eisler and transforms unconventional materials — bed sheets, plaster scraps, laminated paper — into painting surfaces. A member of the Soybot micro-publishing collective, he’s deep in Vienna’s risograph scene.
This risograph was produced during the Living Studio residency at MuseumsQuartier Vienna in 2018.
