Jessy Nite is a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist whose work is defined by meticulous typography and bold, suggestive color. Her large-scale, site-specific installations have been recognized by the American Institute of Architecture, while her commercial portfolio spans brands like Fiat, Guess, and Estrella Damm. She has exhibited across the US and internationally in London, Zurich, São Paulo, and Bangkok, and was featured in the group show Into the Unknown at the Jan Arnold Gallery.
Helluva Drug — the title nods to Rick James’s infamous one-liner — delivers Nite’s typographic punch in four rainbow-blended colors. The print sits in the lineage of Ed Ruscha’s word paintings and Barbara Kruger’s text-as-weapon approach, but with a Miami heat that’s entirely Nite’s own. Four-color rainbow screenprint on Biotop paper.
