Inkman is the alias of Mohamed Kilani Tbib, a Tunisian artist who started painting on the walls of Tunis during the Arab Spring in 2011. Trained in design and typography, he developed a style he calls calligraffiti — Latin characters deconstructed and reshaped with the flowing aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy. Every letter is readable, yet the compositions feel like ornamental Arabic script. His murals span from the village of Erriadh on Djerba (part of the legendary Djerbahood project) to a five-story facade in Dubai, and he has collaborated with luxury houses like Guerlain and an Italian design house.

Royal Confession II inverts the palette — gold calligraffiti on Gmund's deep black Stone Carbon paper. Each letterform is a readable Latin character stretched into the fluid logic of Arabic calligraphy, dissolving the boundary between alphabet and ornament. The dark ground gives them a jewel-like glow, while the embossed surface transforms the screen print into something closer to a bas-relief.
