Markus Tozzer is a Vienna-based artist whose raw, gestural work explores existential territory — spirituality, mysticism, social criticism. Trained in both painting at the University of Applied Arts and printing technology at the Federal Institute of Graphics, he brings a technical understanding of the medium to his expressive, intuitive practice. Tozzer is a member of the Studio Walls collective in Vienna and has exhibited at Parallel Vienna, plus shows in Berlin, Athens, and Mexico City.
Relax is one of those titles that reads as ironic once you feel the energy behind it. Each print in this edition carries individual hand-painted elements over the four-color screen base — making every copy unique.
