2501 — born Jacopo Ceccarelli in Milan — is one of the most distinctive voices in international street art. His large-scale murals of undulating, sinuous lines in black and white have appeared on buildings from São Paulo to Detroit, creating optical vibrations that transform flat walls into moving surfaces. The work sits at the intersection of abstract expressionism and Op Art, drawn freehand at monumental scale.

On the Brink of Disaster was part of PERFEKT PRINTS Edition No. 2 — fourteen two-color screenprints produced in collaboration with Viadukt Screenprints for the PERFEKT WORLD collective in 2014. The title adds narrative tension to 2501’s signature visual language — those hypnotic lines suddenly charged with urgency.
