Ben Frost is an Australian artist whose bold Pop Art has been subverting brand logos, cartoon characters, and pharmaceutical packaging for over twenty years. He paints on everything from canvas to found cereal boxes and pill packaging — consumer culture’s visual language turned against itself. Featured at the MCA Sydney, Urban Nation Berlin, and Saatchi Gallery London, he has also collaborated with Moschino for Milan Fashion Week. In 2016, we hosted his month-long Spoon Full of Sugar residency at the Jan Arnold Gallery. The title says it all — as Frost puts it, “Sugar is something that we all know is bad for us, but we crave and desire it so badly.”
The pink edition of Fear — limited to just 10 copies — shifts the pharmaceutical palette from clinical blue to candy-coated pink, making the pill all the sweeter to swallow. Same four-color screenprint, same branded anxiety, different dosage. Signed, numbered, and blind-stamped.
