Dede is an Israeli multidisciplinary artist whose signature band-aid motif has marked walls across Tel Aviv, New York, Berlin, and beyond since 2006. What began as a personal symbol — loosely tied to healing wounds, both urban and emotional — evolved into one of the most recognized icons in Israeli street art. Working between studios in Manhattan and Tel Aviv, he moves from stencils and wheat pastes to gallery-scale paintings and large murals. In 2017, Dede and his partner Nitzan Mintz brought their work to Vienna for Out Of Place at the Jan Arnold Gallery — a duo exhibition with book launch and outdoor mural in the city.

ElseWhere distills the tension between presence and absence that runs through Dede’s practice. The title evokes displacement, the liminal space between here and somewhere else — territory familiar from Gordon Matta-Clark’s architectural interventions, translated into Dede’s stripped-down graphic language. Three-color screenprint on Munken Pure paper, signed, numbered, and blindstamped.
