Studio Elastik is the design practice of Constantin Demner, a Vienna-based designer and typographer who also curates @fontwien. This series of artprints was created for salonplafond, the restaurant inside Vienna’s MAK – Museum of Applied Arts – where Demner’s typography-driven designs sit between graphic art and applied design, matching the venue’s blend of tradition and contemporary culture.

Nur nicht hudeln translates roughly to “don’t rush it” – a quintessentially Viennese sentiment rendered in Demner’s precise typographic hand. Two-color screen print on Munken Pure, the pristine white paper letting the letterforms breathe.
