Studio Elastik is the design practice of Constantin Demner, a Vienna-based designer and typographer who also curates @fontwien. This series of artprints was created for salonplafond, the restaurant inside Vienna’s MAK – Museum of Applied Arts – where Demner’s typography-driven designs sit between graphic art and applied design, matching the venue’s blend of tradition and contemporary culture.

To Earth we Fell inverts the series’ usual light-ground approach with a deep, near-black Favini Remake Midnight paper that gives the single-color print a nocturnal gravity. The title reads like a fragment from a creation myth, where the type seems to emerge from darkness.
